Instances When Tree Removal Services Will Come In Handy

Blog

As you plant and grow trees on your property, the last thing you would think of is tree removal. After all, you want to enjoy the benefits of having trees in your yard for many years. However, some situations may force you to seek tree removal services. Knowing when to let go of your trees will help you maintain safety and keep other plants healthy. Here are reasons you might need to remove a tree from your property.

A Dying or Dead Tree Is Creating Safety Concerns

If an infection has attacked a tree and you fail to notice it until the disease spreads extensively, most parts will already be dead. Such a tree will be weak, and attempts to save it may not work. Of course, you will need an arborist to confirm this before you consider tree removal.

But, keeping a dying tree in your yard creates safety concerns. A dead branch can snap off and fall on a person, car, power lines, or the street and cause injuries or property damage. The only way to avert property damage and injuries on your property is to remove the tree.

A Tree Is Too Close to a Building or Power Lines

As a tree grows, its branches may go toward a building and cause damage, particularly on the roof. The limbs can be trimmed back to prevent damage, but this may not work in all situations. If it's impossible to redirect a tree's growth, you should remove it.

Also, trees growing near utility lines can create safety hazards. If one of its twigs falls on the power line, it can cause significant damage. Besides, such incidences pose electrocution dangers, so it's better to consider tree removal.

A Tree Is Growing in an Area You Wish to Develop

At some point, you may decide to build an additional structure on your property. Maybe you need to construct another house or pool. If a tree is standing on or near the area, and there isn't another suitable location for your new construction, you'll have to remove the tree. This way, it will be easier to develop the property as planned and increase its value. You can always plant more trees in other parts of the yard.

The installation of a new landscaping bed may also prompt tree removal. This is determined by the type of plants you intend to grow in the space and the landscape design. So, if a tree doesn't blend with the designed landscape, it will need to be removed.

After tree removal, you'll also need to seek stump removal services to prevent regrowth. Stumps also create an eyesore, a problem you don't want to experience after you invest in a new landscaping bed. For more information on tree removal, contact a company near you.

Improving The Look Of Our Trees

After we moved into our house, we knew that something had to be done about our trees. The branches looked off-kilter, and we could tell that someone had pruned them incorrectly at one time or another. Unfortunately, we weren't really sure how to repair the damage. A family friend talked with us about hiring a professional tree trimmer, and so we called them the next day. The difference that they made was astounding. They removed dead branches, trimmed up the shape, and let more sunlight through. My blog is all about improving the look of your trees by hiring a professional.
